In previous post, I talked about Vista like theme and in this second part I would like to talk about Mac OSX theme. Mac OSX theme is indeed a very different theme compared to no matter Windows XP or Vista – Mac OSX theme has its own attraction and style. Taskbar located above the desktop, icons on desktop placed on dock and etc.Flyakite is perfect theme for Windows XP user to transform the Windows desktop environment to Mac OSX theme. When I was using this theme most of my friends thought I was using the real Mac OSX operating system in my laptop, little of them knew the truth since Mac OSX only runs in Apple Notebook or Mac. Hehe, but that was fun.
For the real Mac OSX theme effect, you may drag the taskbar and place on top of desktop and place all your icons on dock, Object Dock. However, not all themes are perfect and Flyakite are not excluded also. The original Mac OSX theme the ‘minimize’, ‘maximize’ and ‘close’ placed on left but in Flyakite its placed on right (Windows default). To fix this, you need Windows Blind and Mac OSX Tiger skin. Oh ya, talking about Windows Blind, for VTP 7 user you need Windows Blind as well for Aero effect (famous Vista glass effect). In addition, you also may install Rocket Dock which is lighter than Object Dock.
