First of all, I'm sorry I didn't post anything useful today. It's full of shit and I warned you in advance. Thank you.

I asked this question to myself and not to any other soul ‘What the heck happened to me actually?’ This is the first time I didn't update my blog for a long time. I mean for a very loooonnngg time and it’s been two weeks I guess. To tell the truth I just don't have the desire to sit and compose articles even though I have handful of topics in my mind to write about. As I mentioned before I facing writer's block till I can't even construct a proper sentences. It's very short and brief just like writing summary for Pengajian Am subject. I cracked my head those days on how to summarize a summary but now it's easy as pie. Arghhh bodonye aku..

Whenever I sit in front of my laptop there are always got something to do and made me occupied such as checking out the latest happenings in tech world. I don't really bother what's going around the worlds especially in Goblokland as Kavilan used to say. I just wasting my time stumble new weblogs, themes for blog, check out new software, download movies and PSP games etc. Hence, when I occupied like this I forgot my main objective UPDATE THE DAMN BLOG. I admit I’m lazy and my mum used to said the same thing as well. Therefore, if you even had a slight thought why the hell am I struggling to keep this blog update, just assume I will answer you back - ‘WHAT’S YOUR F**KING PROBLEM’. Simple isn’t it?

I still remember the first time I used to blog in Friendster blog which was obviously lame after that shifted to Blogger platform. The first blogger I met in blogosphere is BMahendran and after that Tulipspeaks. I did learnt a lot by blogging especially improve my linguistic skills, I know my English is quite bad and I’m really sorry for that. If you encountered such error before, now and in future forgive me as no one is perfect and I'm still learning. I always like to read well written articles such as from Kavilan, Makkez, Ragedindian (based on well structured sentences and the way message is conveyed) and recently came across NoktahHitam. These bloggers have their own style and linguistic skills which amazes me. Besides that, how can I forget Sactyr@Naga my ex-senior back in secondary school writings as well. As you may encountered, the main obstacles writing articles is the longer the article the more it became draggy or short to say crap. As an example this article.

So, cut it short the main purpose I wrote article is.. well there is no any particular reason. It’s just I was emo when writing this article. Anyway, time to get serious just want to let you know guys that I planning to do changes which I don’t have anything particularly in my mind. Basically about change to new design, revised concept, new sections/categories etc. The main dilemma crushing me would be to shift or not to shift to Wordpress platform. I always envied the Wordpress users as their themes shiny, alluring, candy look and sexay such as Novinthen, Vickneswaran & Saravanan07 blog themes.

If you managed to read until here, I don’t know what to say – maybe appreciating you. Chow, ran out of idea to crappin’. I got no mood to go through to check for any error because I'm sleepy now. Sorry in advance. Adios.

p/s: To tell the truth, I was thinking to quit completely from blogosphere and I’m still thinking about it. Maybe I can listen one or two words from you guys? MAYBE, if anyone did read this post.

Sorry I'm Away

Hi guys, for those who regularly view my blog I'm extremely sorry for not updating as frequently as before. I currently shifted to a new place with a new job hence my lifestyle is changed now. I don't have Internet connection in my house ..erm apartment actually. However, I'm in process to apply for Internet connection.. So, till then there will be no updates in my blog. Sorry for the inconvience and disappointment.

Two Major Releases

I might got these news late but I still believe its not too late to talk about. Anyway, straight tot the point the two releases that I meant are Windows XP SP3 and Ubuntu Hardy Heron.

Microsoft scheduled to release Windows XP Service Pack 3 on April 29^th; however the download for 316MB XP SP3 is appearing on sites all across the Internet. A good example of this is over at two famous sites: Major Geeks and Softpedia. They have already posted full download and have mirrored it in several different locations. That essentially means that is already publicly available despite the fact the Microsoft won’t officially be posting it on their site until Tuesday. So, if you want to get Windows XP SP3 (build 5512) a little early you know where to download. As for me ,my laptop getting old and I can’t bear to disrupt my system and end up reformatting. So, I just going to sit and wait for awhile until I get satisfied feedbacks. By the way, rumors said XP SP3 is faster than XP SP2 and even faster than Vista, isn’t it sounds exciting?

Next latest release is Ubuntu 8.04 dubbed “Hardy Heron” that will support until 2011, offers freer, more productive space for work and play than before. For most of us, that made us to hold from using Linux platforms is the method of installation and when dual booting as well. Thanks to Wubi, you won’t have the trouble to crack your head to dual booting Ubuntu. Wubi installs Ubuntu just like you installing any other programs and you can uninstall it as well with few clicks only. With this new release Hardy Heron made that even easier by included the Wubi in the installation process as well. Adrian Hughes Kingsley explained briefly in his blog on how to install Ubuntu Hardy Heron onto a PC without disrupting Windows system. I already installed Ubuntu Hardy Heron on my laptop this very early morning and happy with it. I used Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon before this but I believe this new release its gotten better in booting time and the UI as well plus with lots of cool features.

On next article, I will share my little experience using Ubuntu . If you have any questions regarding the installation I might be able to help you, remember I’m just a newbie as well. However, if you need better assistance you look the answer for your questions in Ubuntu Forums.

*sigh* No Updates for a Long Time

Damn it’s really a long honeymoon for me; I didn’t update my blog for a long time. It’s my new life, new routine and new responsibility. Short to say, I barely have enough time for me to surf Internet and update myself with all these latest tech news. Even I do have time I don’t have the mood for blog *5 hours sleep, barely had no idea what to blog about*

Moreover, I don’t have an Internet connection but my neighbor do *it’s WiFi actually*. All I have to do is sit in front of my laptop around 8:30pm and start connect to his WiFi connection and start surf Internet *there is no password actually and its decent connection speed though*. Which also means bye to my torrent downloads *sigh*. I know its wrong for using his/her WiFi Internet connection without his/her permission but who cares, it’s him/her mistake for not set the password. I using it without paying a single cent, haha .

I hope I won’t neglect my blog by putting blame on those excuses, and wish I can update my blog quite frequently as well

I'm an Ubuntu User Now

Yeay I'm so excited , I finally managed to install Ubuntu 7.10 in my laptop and its running perfectly fine. It's like a small boy got his present on Christmas day morning. It's was my long time dream to see Ubuntu runs in my laptop and due to lack of knowledge in Linux installation method and the partitioning steps made me to think twice before dual boot with Windows XP. Thanks to Wubi, I can install Ubuntu and uninstall (and why would I do that) on fly just like install other application in Windows. Thanks to Cyhperhackz as well for providing the information about Wubi .

For those who heard about Wubi but have no faith to give a try since its just a beta release fear not, its perfectly fine . I installed Ubuntu using Wubi.

When I Couldn't Sleep

It’s a 4:08am when I start typing this post. These past few days lots of things messing up with my thinking ability. Before I moved to my bed at 2am after watched 4^th episode of Bionic Woman which I downloaded, my brain as if like been saturated – I got no mood or don’t know what to do. Sounds like zombie – uhhhhhhh.

At first I was playing my addicted MMPORG Tales of Pirates, after couple of minutes I felt bored so I quit and then give a try to design a new header for my blog. That’s really a pain in the ass part for me because I have no idea at all. Actually to tell the truth I’m not creative minded and I always won’t satisfied with my work. That’s why if you realize I changed lots of templates and header. So, after staring blankly at my laptop screen even after look for ideas on the Internet I finally made up mind and upload the new green header. I’m bored with black anyway. So, nothing else to do again I chatted in MIRC and its even boring there. At last, I watched the Bionic Woman series which I saved couple of weeks ago and get on to the bed. This could be my bad day maybe, I couldn’t sleep and now I typing this article.

My mum often scolding me for being forgetful and that’s true – I tend to forget easily. That’s why I taught myself to write down any ideas to-dos onto a small notepad. Whenever I’m not facing laptop screen loads of ideas and to-dos (usually it’s related to blog) bombarding my memory zone. The funny thing is when I face my laptop all those ideas and to-dos stored in my memory zone will messed up and in the end I couldn’t do anything which I supposedly should do. Look at the screen blankly and force myself to think what’s those things are. This made me ‘brainless’ and no mood for blogging.

Its looks I’m in the right mood for blogging – and geez at 4:30 am? I’m seriously crazy. If my mum came suddenly for sure I’m dead. Better jump on the bed now.

I'm Addicted to MMPORG: Tales of Pirates

Seriously I just started to play this game to fill my leisure time now I'm addicted to it and worst thing is till I got no time to blog as well. I became more interested to play Tales of Pirates instead of blogging . So, let me share few words about Tales of Pirates.

Tales of Pirates (TOP) is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game and you can play it for free. Logon to the TOP website and sign up for a/an account after that download the 344MB game client. After installation if there is any updates or patch, the game client will download the updates and patches automatically. Besides that, you will notified any updates, notices or activities on the game client window itself.

I guess its time to get know the owner of this blog and his freelancer, rihuhs (I guess he will write about him later). Few naked truth about me.

• Kesh is actually straightly derived from my real name and that is … erm nah just let it be secret for now.
• I’m a 22 years old guy hailed from Perak, Malaysia and how do I look alike? I’m a human and I thank God for that. I’m a spec’ky guy but absolutely not a geeky type. Not a hopper not a skater just normal and casual guy. I’m not look alike as Brad Pitt or Shrek, a pleasant look (hee I guess). Always prefer to look appealing and I want to be what I’m without copying others. I’m happy of what I’m.
• Big fan of anime since DragonBall domination era and currently Bleach. Annoying friends by talking in broken Japan language especially ‘nan’date - what’ and repeating again and again with sissy like voice.
• Love watching movie but selective - usually won’t be quiet in theater if the movie is boring. Laughing like hell for horror scenes and fighting scene (simply) with my friend, Vishnu – about others who cares. Sometimes love to watch ‘scenes out of the screen’ mostly 18SX genre (it’s free -lah).
• I hate Indian dramas more than cold mee-hun soup. I couldn’t watch any of my favourite programs while the Indian drama on air – my mum will watch from morning to almost late night and I only can grab the remote at midnight, what the hell I gonna watch at that time?
• Ardent fan of Nu-Skool Rock and Hip Hop / RnB musics. Hate My Chemical Romance because they just screaming rather than singing at least Linkin Park is better. Hate Brit’nay (she’s a biatch) erm who cares about that as long she shows what she got (I mean the talents my friends the t-a-l-e-n-t-s)
• Once upon a time die hard fan of PC games (now no more my laptop where got can support one). Fan of Half-Life, NFS, Civilization, Warcraft (DotA rules), The Sims (love it so much). Basically I love simulation, real time strategy (RTS) and first person shooter (FPS) based games.
• Love to read – especially comics. Avid collectors of novel graphics especially Ben’s art, his romantic story are simply superb and so do his arts. I love history and science, hate mathematics. Computer related books mainly about tutorials and how-to’s.
• Love to be online no matter how long – maybe till my ass cheeks getting numb or get shouted from my mum.
• Love window shopping not to look for clothes or shoes but for girls. Hee. I just 'eyeing' hot chicks not chasing them and asking their names or contact numbers – strictly no-no. Hate ‘Oh I’m The Most Prettiest Girl on Earth’ mentality girl . Love to eyeing pretty girls with down to earth attitude but not many like that now. Basically I'm a shy to girls
• I like to be relaxed and I don’t know how to be serious if I be serious people will laugh at me and I don’t know why. Sometimes, my girlfriend scolding me for being a clown than a romantic guy duh its hard to be serious, you know .
• Very picky on food – I prefer not to eat seafood except fish and that’s also got few exceptions such as I hate stingrays and shark, yuck. I don’t like lamb, vegetable and that’s also got few exceptions as well. I don’t like milk and coffee. Love burgers in Burger King, Cheezy Wedges in KFC, Chinese cuisine, Indian delicacies and Malay’s rendang.

My Laptop & Stupid Spyware Screwed Me

Yesterday was a really bad day for my laptop and me. It all happened because one stupid RAR password protected file that I downloaded and in order to get the password I need to login to Germany web page and sign up for something (its in Germany as I said). Yeah, as you thinking it’s for sure spyware infested web page and I just want to give a try besides that, I thought I can remove it later if my laptop was attacked.

Short to say after signed up, the bloody web page didn’t provide me any password so, I downloaded RAR Password Cracker software (cracks RAR password files). After cracked the software and add the file to crack and I got an error message (forgot what it says). Not long after that, my taskbar disappeared. Thought it would be some high CPU usage problem, I was waiting for the taskbar to re-appear. Hell is still same and I concluded my laptop was attacked by malwares maybe from web page or from cracked RAR Password Cracker.

The first thing I did was open Task Manager and look for any suspicious process and I found nothing. After that, I open Registry Editor to check for suspicious start up programs and still found nothing. Feeling curious for what happening, I restart my laptop thought nothing was wrong - and what I saw is an empty desktop with no icons, no widgets and not even taskbar except wallpaper. Even when I press Windows button on keyboard is not working but lucky enough the Task Manager and Registry Editor are accessible. After a while the taskbar appears but its flashing (something wrong and its proven the malwares behind for this). When inspecting the whole processes in Task Manager, one process is flashing consistently with taskbar flashing and the process name is ‘Imapi.exe’. After done a few researches on Internet soon I found out that certain spywares disguise as ‘Imapi.exe’.

Realized that ‘Imapi.exe’ causing the problem I searched the root file and deleted it and restart, it's still the same. Even though I deleted and scan the whole system the spyware seems changed/corrupted the Windows system file and registry settings. What can I do then? System Restore would be the life saver however, I turned off the System Restore to recover hard disk space that the System Restore taken. At that time I felt, I’m the dumbest guy ever. As one last chance, I attempted to repair my Windows however there is a problem with that my laptop shutdown very often whenever I install a fresh copy of Windows or repair. That means its not easy way to do it but I still tried and ended up fail for 3 times.

Pissed of with my laptop’s unknown problem which causes it shutdown half way when fixing Windows I decided to look for another option. I thought look for additional information on Internet might provide any solutions and before I do that I was welcomed by black screen with white fonts printed when I boot the system

Great isn’t it due to stupid behavior of my laptop shutdown half way when repairing made certain files corrupted. Feeling angry, pissed off, amok, and regret I tried again and again to repair. It still shutdown half way and made me look very helpless. Once again my laptop screwed me damn f**king nicely.

No Internet Connection!!!

Man it is really hard to keep posting everyday and at this moment I facing a serious problem 'I'VE NO INTERNET CONNECTION RIGHT NOW '. When my friend called the service center, she just asking some stupid questions which is obviously not related to the matter. After some stupid Q/A she just gave a number ask to call the number for further questions and call for technician. Oh ya, my friend did ask when would the technician would come, she just said 'Oh it would take 2 days for them, they have loads of works'. WTF man. I just hate SCREAMYX!!!

Right now, I'm surfing in KFC which providing free Internet access and thats of course you need to buy at least a drink. However, when I'm back I will post lots of interesting post. I guess so

My Harddisk Screwed Me

Just imagine you save all your valuable data in your laptop and suddenly you found out your harddisk corrupted and the one day you got to know there is no other way to recover it back. How would you feel?

After I posted those two articles the day before yesterday and then start surfing Internet happily, I heard weird noise came from my laptop more precisely from the harddisk as if the sounds like someone farting inside the laptop. After that, my laptop got hang and the farting sounds became louder I mean the weird sound. I thought it’s nothing I force shutdown my laptop and then brought my laptop to my room. My worst nightmare crippling out gently when my laptop hang when booting and then it says

remember I still cool with it because I thought I can find out the problem soon or later.

Assuming my harddisk got inner problem, I went to buy a new harddisk 80GB Maxtor with casing which cost me RM200 (luckily there is PC fair going on in my campus). I unscrewed the laptop harddisk and install the new one in my laptop, after that install the laptop harddisk into the external casing hoping it can working as external harddisk. Guess what? It still stubbornly making the farting sound and the harddisk neither detected by my laptop nor my friend’s either. Yeah, you maybe smart enough to think why he just didn’t bring the laptop to the service center? Well, my warranty is already expired so no point bringing there after all they going to charge me for that so better I do it on own first.

At some point I felt like want jump from my room window perhaps I won’t get injured since its just 1^st floor because the harddisk is so 'stubborn' from being better. My most precious, valuable, treasured data cannot be recovered because of this undetectable harddisk. My songs, pictures and softwares – hmm at least I can collect from others but how bout my ebooks I WAS had many * For Dummies collection. Those are my treasured data in my laptop and its fate still questionable. I might bring the harddisk to PC shops ask them is there any hope to safe my ‘treasure’.

Actually, I had no idea how my harddisk became unusable, but when I was surf Internet normally (when my harddisk still fine) and then I got an error message saying something like

Your system need to shutdown now, please save your works and log out. Issued by Windows NT/System

Never seen, an error message like that before and I seriously have no idea what’s the f**king wrong with my harddisk. Gonna bang me head on wall if the harddisk is cannot be saved.

What a f**king week for me. Problems after problems what a hard life :(

It’s Me, Back Again

Time passes so quickly till I can’t believe that I’m in 3^rd year in one of the local university. I had learned a lot in these 2 years – the definitions of friendships, traitors, backstabbing, love, respects and not to forgetting hypocrites. I just hope that I’ll be able to finish my studies without any further problems. Ermm ain't it sounds like soap opera dialogs? Ok drop it. Let me share the thoughts of mine which was roaming under my cranium since the first day I had been here.

1. The climate is hotter than in Peninsula Malaysia and I brought sweater and thick blanket thought it could be colder here.
2. I never visited any famous tourist spots here.
3. Raining is rare here; heavy rain with lightning is even very rare to see.
4. No Internet connection in hostel my worst nightmare – so called University plan that Netspot provide Internet connection for the whole campus which of course not free and with some stupid R&R such as no Instant Messaging, no torrents. Sucks.
5. My block are creepy, my roommate said something was following whenever he step outside of the room at night.
6. This year junior girls (most of them) are pretty. Not enough time and opportunity to meet them all. Ehem. Junior boys wait la you all (tak cukup ragging la korang)
7. Each block has its own washing room and bathroom in every level (2 shower rooms & 3 toilets). In each level for every block only one shower room and 2 toilets working properly) that’s the statistic here. Sometimes few jerks won’t flush the toilets; throw leftover of foods in sink etc. makes the place more shitty. Proud to be Malaysian.
8. And, I posted this article in library, from now this would be my second home for me. Well indeed not for study and revise, wanna surf Internet and perhaps check out the girls here. Hee.
   

However, I will try my best to update my blog everyday since that’s my passion and that’s something I won’t easily ignore it for some stupid circumstances.

Hm, how I gonna survive without Internet and everyday I need to come to library, geez..

By tomorrow I'll be in my campus entering 3rd year of my studies. Sucks very bad. Don't have mood at all. Damn, same campus environment, got Final Year Project and its final year. Arghh dunno what to crap actually.

I'll away for couple of days probably few weeks I afraid. So, there won't be any updates till then. Sucks man. Busy with registration thing, unpack my things all, meeting with lectures, shoppin etc. Warghhhhh.

Finally, my dream to buy a domain for this site is finally achieved. Formerly known as http://kronize.blogspot.com now shifted to http://www.keshzone.com – for me it’s shorter and cool. In the beginning, I faced few difficulties to buy the domain. Luckily, Mahendran bro helped me a lot. The damn thing on setup domain is the DNS setting. I spent 3 days to find out how to fix it since the newly bought domain failed to re-direct to my blog. I 'pestered' Mahendran bro on this matter – for sure he might hate me for that, hee sorry bro I don't know to whom I should turn up. Really appreciates your help without you there is no keshzone.com (Cewah over lak bunyinye kan, wakaka). And, my domain registrar can’t understand my problem, but they tried their best to help me. Kudos for Shinjiru Tech Live Support Guys.

I gone through enough agony to read and understand the blogger help since their given few links to setup the DNS are need to updated. It’s all because CNAME setting - the one giving problem actually (I mean I didn’t setup it). After registered my domain in DNS Park and add their given nameserver to my domain registrars orderbox plus few settings that I made up on my own. Guess what at last it works I don’t know which one made its working but hell if its working its enough for me.

What to say?

Nothing actually, just mumbling to myself. I'm not frequently online nowadays, since my home just have a dial-up internet connection (whaaat). It's gonna took me forever just to log in to my e-mail or my friendster account (including the Blogger). Arghhh!. I have to go to a cyber cafe which about 5 minutes from my home to get online (this one is the nearest, and also the most reliable to me). Well, at least i got a faster internet speed, with some extra cost. This means that I don't have much time to roam around in the Net and to look for interesting stuff to post to the c@che talk. That adds to the TV that seems to make bored every single day. The only shows that i can watch are Prison Break, Heroes, and Scrubs (i have all of them to the latest season, thanks to Kesh :p). I even thought about finding a job, maybe repairing PC's besides doing research for my 3rd year project. Looks like I'm just doing the same thing every day; wake up and thinking about what to do for the day. (++) hmm, maybe some of you would like to suggest or request some topics to be posted. The Time Finally Arrived

Ok cool down don't expect any cool news, I just ran out of ideas to choose the appropriate title. As I said in previous post, its time for me to leave. Hehe, my holiday started what and today is/was my flight. So, there will be lesser post from me, compared before this. I didn't have Internet connection in my house either. Hmmm... must do something about that. Anyway, I'm really sorry guys for not updating my site for couple of days. Thanks to rihuhs for his post (Pimp Your Laptop) . I'm really busy packing my stuff - ended up with flu (stupid dust). Looking for place to keep my belongings. Experimenting with clothes folding technique and.. and.. erm.. Thats my story. The End.

I'll continue to post no matter what at LEAST once a week. Papai. Happy Holiday to me. (hope so)
