Yesterday, Google released the latest version of its Google Chrome 0.3.154.0 on the Dev channel. The current update brings some bug fixes for various plugins mainly Flash plugin , CPU usage while browsing, the default search engine have been improved, minor fixes in user interface (UI) etc. The Dev channel is useful for web developers, testers and anyone who wants to help make Google Chrome better. The Dev channel allows user to access and test on the upcoming bug fixes (hot from oven). So, keep in mind that means Dev channel releases less stable compared to Beta channel.
The Dev channel can be subscribed through the following steps:
- 1. Download and run the Google Chrome Channel Chooser.
- 2. Click the circle next to Dev.
- 3. Click Update to save your choice.
- 4. Click Close.
- 5. In Google Chrome, click the wrench menu and choose About Google Chrome.
- 6. Click Update Now to install the current Dev channel release.
- 7. Restart Google Chrome.
