Microsoft has confirmed Symantec reports related to the spreading a Windows product activation Trojan horse. The malicious code is identified as Trojan Kardphisher – designed to attack Windows XP user as Microsoft Windows Genuine Advantage Tool.
According to Symantec, the Trojan asks users to enter their credit card identifications. Symantec’s Takashi Katsuki explained the process users need to undertake to remove Trojan.
