Yahoo! has launched an environment oriented website, Yahoo! Green. This site is designed to inform visitors about latest news, tips and ways to take action to protect the environment.
Yahoo! Green will offer personalized plans allow users to do their smallest part to protect the planet and choose from a menu of actions to reduce their personal carbon emissions and see the collective impact of everyone who participates.
Besides that, the website also include the latest environmental headlines from Yahoo! News, featured content from Global Green USA, Environmental Defense, NRDC, and Lime; blog feeds from environmental authority Amory Lovins and EcoGeek, green shopping tips, relevant content from Yahoo! Answers, Yahoo! Groups and the Yahoo! Autos Green Center in the near future.
Hmm, I wonder is this happens because of the big countries didn’t follow the Kyoto Protocol properly thus lead to green house effect and made Yahoo! to enter the scene and do something about it? I don’t know.
